FMS was Awarded a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) to Provide Financial and Budget Analyst Support Services to DHS, Federal Protective Service (FPS) throughout Region 7

Washington, DC (May 30, 2012) - FMS was awarded a BPA to provide Financial and Budget analyst Support Services to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD), FPS, throughout Region 7.

FMS will provide specialized expertise in providing accounting processing support to include processing obligations and vendor payments, validating financial data from the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS), tracking and reporting expenditures in relationship to obligated amounts, and reclassifying existing financial documents and prepare daily status of funds reports.

FMS will perform database maintenance and development, transaction processing, voucher examination, data entry, and data reconciliation. FMS will also assist in developing a work plan, identifying internal control weaknesses and making recommendations to augment controls through procedures and policy changes.

FPS is a Federal law enforcement agency that provides law enforcement and security services to over one million tenants and daily visitors to Federal owned and leased facilities nationwide.
